Paul was recently admitted as a Fellow of the London College of Music for his research on the changes encountered by the female voice during menopause and the implications for the singer and teacher. Research that Paul undertook for his Masters degree focused on menopausal voice change and his thesis trialled various care pathways on a sample of post-menopausal women. All of the participants in the study demonstrated an improvement in their vocal function. Paul is hoping to begin a Doctorate in October 2025 which will focus on designing a model to be used for rehabilitation of the post menopausal voice.
